Hello friends. I have a bittersweet announcement today. I am moving The Imagination Spot to online only early next year, which means I will be closing our retail shop in Downtown Goshen.
I’ve loved every part of owning a storefront for over 4 years and the experiences I’ve shared with all of you. I started my business because I love to draw, create and I wanted to share that with everyone in the form of fun cards and products. I never really thought my dream of owning retail shop was possible until I moved to Goshen and fell in love with our wonderful downtown.
Running a retail shop while balancing family can be a challenge. Our daughter is a high school freshman this year and is involved in show choir as well as theater and I want to be at every one of her performances. When you own a retail shop, you don’t punch clock, because your business is also your child. During this important time in my daughter’s life, my husband and I have decided that she should be our main priority. I am also looking forward to having more time to create and design new products.
However, even though one chapter of The Imagination Spot is ending, I am excited to start this new chapter. You will still be able to shop The Imagination Spot products online and you might occasionally see me in person in and around Goshen as well. As I map out this new chapter, I invite you to follow along with me. I plan to bring exciting new things to you through The Imagination Spot in the next year.
Keep an eye on our social media for more updates. As for now, it will be business as usual at my retail shop. We will still have a great selection of gifts and art supplies for the Holidays for you but keep in mind that our inventory will be limited and when an item sells out, we will not be ordering any more. So if you have favorite items you would like for Christmas, make sure to shop early before things are sold out.
