OUR STORY - THE IMAGINATION SPOT
This is the spot where imagination comes to life in the form of fun, colorful and sometimes quirky greeting cards, stationery, gifts and décor items. Creating products that bring smiles to faces and joy to hearts is my passion.
All of The Imagination Spot products are designed in my home studio in Goshen, Indiana. As a trained illustrator, I start by sketching on paper and then draw the final design on a tablet. Our handcrafted designs are completed by lino-cut block printing using a Vandercook proofing press that is more than a century old.
I strive to connect with local manufacturers whenever possible. I’m also committed to finding ways to create while still being kind to our planet. I use eco-friendly card stock and 100% recycled envelopes.
I also offer a range of personalized products and custom designs. What can your imagination come up with? Let’s connect and make it a reality!
You can find our products here in our online shop, on Etsy, local art and craft shows and also some amazing boutique shops. If you're a shop looking to carry our products, please fill our our contact form.
I was born and raised in India. I started doodling at a very young age. Encouraged by my parents and teachers, I entered various art competitions and won many awards.
I studied Textile Design and Fine Arts in high school and college (Delhi College of Arts). After moving to Canada with my family in 1996, I continued my arts education in Illustration at Sheridan College and Classical Animation at Max The Mutt Animation School, both in Ontario.
My work experience includes two children’s books for Scholastic Canada along with several other books for independent authors. While working as an illustrator/graphic designer in the gift manufacturing industry I knew that I wanted to launch my own business to offer my own line of products. The Imagination Spot was born.
In addition to creating for and managing my own business, I’m wife to the world’s best cartoon animator and mom to a chatterbox dancer extraordinaire who has been seen on international stages (Canada and the U.S.).
