Where it all began

The Imagination Spot started as a little part time creative adventure for the founder, Jasmine Wall. While working as an illustrator and graphic designer for a gift company, Jasmine started on her own line of greeting cards in 2014. She started selling her cards at local art, craft shows and online on Etsy. After expanding her product line to more stationery items, Jasmine started selling wholesale to small boutiques and gift shops all over the U.S and Canada. She fell in love with the idea of gift giving and celebrating people.

In 2019, Jasmine a brick-and-mortar stationery shop in Goshen, Indiana. The Imagination Spot’s retail location offered a larger selection of stationery, art supplies as well as creative workshops. In 2024, Jasmine decided to close her retail shop and move her shop online in order to get back to designing and creating new products.

Our online shop now offers you a one stop shop for all you greeting cards and gifting needs. You can now shop not only whimsical cards and stationery products designed by Jasmine but also colorful art supplies and gift items.

About Me

I was born and raised in India. I started doodling at a very young age. I knew early on that my life's work would be something related to drawing or design. I have always loved all things paper so I decided to put my illustrations and designs on greeting cards and that is how The Imagination Spot was born.

As I moved through my childhood and teens I played around in pen and ink, watercolors, gouache and even learned textile printing. After moving to Canada, I continued my education in Illustration and Classical Animation. I applied my training as a children's educational book illustrator for Scholastic Canada, on freelance projects for various clients as well as t-shirt designs for Disney Consumer Products. I also license my art to various larger gift companies.

Working as an illustrator and designer in the gift manufacturing industry for over ten years, gave me a peek into the stationery world. I loved every project I worked on, but there was always a part of me that wished for more creative freedom. To fill that need, I creating illustrations in the evenings and realized that I was an artist who would not be satisfied if I didn't listen to my own muse. After I started selling at local art and craft shows in Toronto, a few local retail shops approached me and wanted to carry my line. I sold wholesale for a few years in Canada before moving to the U.S at the end of 2016.

In addition to creating for and managing my own business, I’m wife to an animator/sales manager and mom to a chatterbox performer extraordinaire who has been seen on international stages (Canada and the U.S.).
